Program Overview
The webinar will provide school nurses skills and tips in data collection and data sharing that translate data elements into information and knowledge. School Nurses will experience the power of the data they collect to provide the evidence that school nurses are a cost effective and prudent investment in the health of children at the local, state and national level.

This activity is part of a Data Collection Mini Series that includes:
Learning Outcomes
As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners will be able to:
  • Identify two distinct strategies to use your documentation to collect data
  • Analyze two potential barriers to clean, accurate data and two solutions for overcoming those
  • Integrate existing data into meaningful reports
Intended Audience
This continuing education program is a knowledge-based activity developed to meet the educational needs of registered nurses who are interested in building partnerships with community stakeholders within and outside of the school.
